Adding, Modifying, Removing or Moving a Free-Text object
Adding a Free-Text object
- Switch to Designer mode.
- Move to the map to add a Free text object to.
- Right-click anywhere on the submap and select Add object|Add Free text.
- The "Add Free text" window opens.
- Enter text in the Text box. (Max 50 characters)
- Press Ok to save.
- The cursor of the map to add an object to, changes from a normal to a drag symbol.
- Click on the map to add the object.
If no specific font is specified, the default font is used. You can set the default font by selecting Options|Global configuration from the menu on the main window and than the Various tab.
Modifying a Free-Text object
- Switch to Designer mode.
- Right-click the Free-Text object to modify.
- Select Modify this object.
- The "Add Free text" window opens.
- Modify the text in the Text box. (Max 50 characters)
- Press Ok to save.
Removing a Free-Text object
- Switch to Designer mode.
- Right-click the Free-Text object and select Remove this object from the popupmenu.
Moving a Free-Text object
- Switch to Designer mode.
- Press and hold-down the [Alt] button and drag the Free-text object to its new position.
- Release all buttons.
